For a leading company in packaging sector we are looking for a Group EHS & Sustainability Leader:

• By working hands on hands with the General Manager and with the Operations Director, the successful candidate will represent the Key Player in defining the Group EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Roadmap, in identifying and tracking the appropriate set of KPIs, in implementing on daily basis an Operational Excellence Culture.
• As additional Mission, the Resource will also play a Pivotal Role as Sustainability Leader according to the Strategies and Guidelines defined by the Board of Directors and by the Leadership Team.

Job Responsibilities:

• The assignment will cover the 3 European Group Legal Entities:
  • Italy: Manufacturing and Offices
  • Germany: Manufacturing and Offices
  • Spain: Office
• Continuous monitoring of all the risks related to all the Group activities including the yearly update of the Risk Evaluation Document (DVR - Documento di Valutazione dei Rischi) according to the applicable laws and Standards; this activity will be supported by external specialized consultants currently already cooperating with the Company.
• Definition and tracking of a Group yearly EHS Plan in order to monitor conformity to laws as regards to Safety, Industrial hygiene, Health, Environmental protection, Fire Prevention, Air Emissions, Water, Waste Management as well as to identify EHS continuous improvements initiatives.
• Direct cooperation with the Sanitary Team for all the legislative obligations as well as to track the health surveillance Plan.
• Definition and implementation of a Safety Observations Audit Plan.
• Direct accountability for the reporting required by the law or by the Local Authorities.
• Close cooperation with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Engineering, Maintenance in order to
  • Preparation of a renewed set of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Training Plan.
  • Define the EHS related CAPEX budget priorities.
  • Manage external Vendors.
• Strong support in the definition of the Sustainability Initiatives priorities
• Path to ISO 14001 and BRC certifications could be evaluated at least for the Germany Site.
